Who are we?

Our goal

We are an association of Professional Land Surveyors that provide professional services within the County of Marin.

The goal of the California Land Surveyors Association is to promote and enhance the profession of surveying, to promote the common good and welfare of its members, to promote and maintain the highest possible standards of professional ethics and practice, and to elevate the public’s understanding of our profession. CLSA represents all land surveyors, whether they are employees or proprietors, whether in the public or private sector.

Committee Efforts and Chapter Goals

Our members currently have a variety of efforts underway such as improving the Oglesby records at the Marin Free Library, new website, modifications to building setback verification procedure/form, scholarships for students pursuing land surveying as a career, proposed legislation, etc.

Our Core Values

We strive to protect the public by maintaining a high level of continued education, diligent practice, and the continued effort toward the betterment of the land surveying profession. 

Professional Development Program (PDP)

The CLSA Professional Development Program (PDP) is a voluntary program intended to encourage and support the continued professional growth and competency of land surveyors and recognize their continuing education activities. This program also provides members a means to meet out-of-state licensure requirements.
